A new tenant moves in within weeks. They'll need a post-construction clean, a janitorial contract, badge access and movers.
Know which DC offices need you this week.
Every Monday we send you the offices being built out, renovated or newly occupied in DC, pulled from public building permit records. Each tipoff comes with the address, the date, why it matters to your trade, and who to call.
How it works
No software to learn. A short list lands in your inbox every Monday.
Tell us what you sell
Your trade, the neighborhoods you cover, and the job sizes you want. It takes three minutes.
We read the public record
DC building permits, tenant fit-outs and new business licenses. We keep the ones that fit your trade and drop the rest.
You call first
Up to 25 tipoffs a week, each with the address, the record and its date, why it matters to you, and who to ask for.
One permit. A different reason to call for every trade.
A list gives you names. A tipoff tells you what just happened and what to say. Here's how the 16,728 sf build-out at 1100 15th St NW reads for each trade we serve.
Post-construction clean before move-in, then a nightly janitorial bid for 16,728 sf.
Life-safety work is in the permit scope. A new tenant needs badge readers and access credentials set up before day one.
MEP is in scope. A new floor layout needs air balancing at turnover and someone on a service contract after.
Furniture is in the permit scope, so the install and the move are weeks out. Get in before the tenant picks a vendor.

Questions
Where do tipoffs come from?
Official public records: DC Department of Buildings permits and new business licenses. Every tipoff links to the record it came from, so you can check it yourself.
Is this just a list from a database?
No. Each tipoff is something that happened in the last few weeks at a specific address, with a reason it matters to your trade right now. If nothing new happened, you won't get filler.
Who do I contact?
Permits rarely name a person. Each tipoff tells you which role to ask for and where: usually the tenant's office or facilities manager, or the building's property manager. When a company publishes a facilities contact, we include it.
How many will I get?
It depends on what gets filed. DC produced 22 for commercial services from Oct 1 to 28, 2026. We cap it at 25 a week and send the best fits first.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time. Plans are month to month, and the first two weeks are free.
